MUSIC

Welcome to my music page, I hope that you will enjoy what you see...and if you don't, well, what can I say...at least it's not elevator music I'm attempting to promote! Here is where it gets interesting: When I was 12, I was completly taken by R&B and Rap. To be compeletly honest, and a bunch of you will agree with me when I say this, you can't really dance to a lot of the alternative music that is out there. It's a sad fact, but it's true. Let's put this theory to the test. Picture prom for example: There are a bunch of 16 to 18 year-olds dressed up like they are 23, spending more money then they make, dancing to the Cure. They would just be standing there! Don't get me wrong here...alternative music is my bag baby, it's just that to most 13 year-olds, the song "boys don't cry" isn't fun-filled and action-packed.

In high school I discovered Alternative music, Ska, Metal, Punk, and Classic Rock. I really enjoyed the diversity that I encountered on campus. Alternative and Classic Rock is pretty much what I stick to these days. I really enjoy Jimi Hendrix (thanks to Nita), and the Beatles (of course). I have ALWAYS enjoyed the Beatles with their up-beat music in the early sixties, to their laid-back "come togther" kinda music in the late sixties/seventies. I enjoy a lot of the modern music these days too. I prefer music that is up-lifting, the kind of music that can get your sprirts up. I really enjoy THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS (even though they aren't as modern as some music out here). I also like THE OFFSPRING, anything from the Austin Powers sound track, GOO GOO DOLLS, BLINK 182, THE FOO FIGHTERS, METALLICA, SANTANA, and a lot of others. If you are intested in the same type of music click on my KROQ link to check out KROQ's web site. They have some hilarious stuff on their site. If you get a chance, check out Kevin and Bean's Bee Porn...it's COMEDY!
